Inventory Accounting Clerk

Penske Automotive Group is looking for an experienced Inventory Accounting Clerk to join our team and help support our business operations in the accounting department. They are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the dealership's inventory in the dealership accounting system.

As an Inventory Accounting Clerk, you will help our dealership network by obtaining, entering, and maintaining data and accounting records by performing your duties in accordance with company policy and procedures. Portions of the position will be focused on data entry and other clerical responsibilities. This is a great opportunity for somebody with data entry experience in an accounting setting to expand knowledge and advance their career.
Essential Functions
Enters all new vehicles into the dealership's accounting system
Enters purchased used cars into the dealership's accounting systems and produces checks for payment
Reconciles the physical inventory of vehicles to the dealership's book balances
Reconciles factory holdbacks
Monitors parts and service clearing accounts for balance to be applied to inventory
Maintains reporting systems required by general management and the manufacturer
Produces reports on the inventory of the dealership according to policy and on request
Ensures that the work areas and customer waiting area are kept clean
Follows all attendance and punctuality standards with adherences to timekeeping standards
Follows the Code of Business Ethics and Conduct
Understands and follow all work rules and procedures and follows lawful directions from Supervisors
Upholds the company's non-disclosure and confidentiality policies and agreements
Maintains a professional appearance for self in accordance with company policy
Attends pertinent training on request
Attends company meetings as required
