Penske Automotive Bilingual Sales Trainer in Orlando, Florida

Summary/Objectives:

The Bilingual Sales Trainer is responsible for maintaining Penske sales training compliance. The trainer is responsible for all reporting and measurement of training needs. The trainer works with the GM, lead sales manager and service manager to assist in training all sales consultants and ASM's. This role will also assist in the recruitment process for the Sales Department.

Essential Functions

  • Supports English and Spanish speaking customers. Fluency in Spanish is required.

  • Maps out training plans and develops training schedule (outsourced or in-house)

  • Chooses appropriate training methods per case (simulations, on the job training, professional development classes, etc.)

  • Communicates available training opportunities to employees and provides necessary information

  • Responsible for planning, organizing, leading, and implementing the dealership's training program

  • Creates an on-boarding program for all sales consultant and ASM positions

  • Conducts training classes utilizing classroom, video and online resources

  • Creates and coordinates all training materials, including updating, organizing and tracking documents

  • Periodically evaluates sales training programs to ensure high quality and alignment to dealership needs

  • Assesses instructional effectiveness and summarizes evaluation reports determining the impact of training on employee skills and how it affects KPIs

  • Understands the terminology of the business

  • Maintains a professional appearance in accordance with company policy

  • Attends pertinent trainings and company meetings as required

  • Other duties as assigned

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Standard Business Hours with ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as required

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor's Degree; and one to three years of related experience in sales, sales management; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree; and five to seven years' experience in a similar position; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
