Penske Automotive Marketing Coordinator (Intern) - Arizona Management Company in Phoenix, Arizona

Summary/Objective

The Marketing Coordinator supports dealership business development and marketing efforts across stores and departments to drive sales growth and repeat and referral business.

Essential Functions

  • Liaison to the Area VP and store General and Department Managers, responsible for establishing and maintaining successful procedures to the execution of digital sales growth initiatives and customer relationship management

  • Assists with the creation and maintenance and optimization of dealership websites

  • Reports and tracks effectiveness of customer retention campaigns and productivity changes associated with CRM and related digital efforts

  • Identifies and implements new methods to improve dealership systems, processes, traffic management and other means to better manage marketing strategies and increase ROI on related initiatives

  • Takes actions to promote the integration/synchronicity of dealership CRM, DMS and phone systems

  • Pursues measures to promote the development of marketing best practices and SOPs

  • Collaborates with management teams to define marketing strategies and conducts trainings, runs reports and otherwise manages projects to meet the goals of preferred strategies

  • Coordinates in-store marketing initiatives

  • Reviews company reputation across social media platforms and takes a number of steps, both internal and external, to maintain and improve the image of dealerships

  • Communicates current initiatives/strategies to managers and provides updates as necessary
