WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The Automotive Tint Helper assists in the preparation, application, and finishing of window tint on vehicles. The position requires a detail-oriented individual to ensure the highest quality of tint installation and customer satisfaction. The Tint Helper will work under the supervision of the Lead Installer and is expected to maintain cleanliness and order in the shop while learning and developing skills related to automotive tinting.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in measuring and cutting window tint film to the appropriate size and shape for vehicle windows.
Prepare vehicles by cleaning windows and ensuring all surfaces are free of debris.
Assist in the application of window tint on various vehicles, ensuring accurate placement and smooth application.
Support the lead installer in ensuring proper curing and drying of the tint after application.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring that tools, equipment, and materials are properly stored and maintained.
Help in inspecting completed tint jobs for quality and precision.
Assist in inventory management by tracking materials and supplies.
Learn and apply proper safety protocols while handling tinting materials and tools.
Assist in removing old window tint when necessary, following safe removal procedures.
Support the team in other general tasks related to automotive detailing and shop operations.
Prior experience in automotive detailing, tinting, or a similar field is a plus, but not required.
Basic knowledge of automotive interiors and exteriors.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
